Data collected through the contact form
When you use our contact form, we collect the following data and use it solely to answer your enquiry:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Institution (optional)
- Topic (optional)
- Message
Spam protection
To protect the contact form, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. Technical characteristics of your browser are transmitted to Cloudflare to recognise automated requests. The content of your message stays with us.
Hosting and technical information
This website runs on our own infrastructure in Europe. We use no analytics tools and no third-party tracking. The web server stores technical access data (IP address, time, page accessed) for a short period to keep the site running.
Signing in to the agodoc app
We use Firebase Authentication (Google LLC, USA) to sign you in to the agodoc app. You can sign in with email and password or with Google, Microsoft or Apple. When you use one of these providers, it sends us the following data once you have consented:
- Name and email address (for Apple, a relay address depending on your settings)
- A unique identifier for your account at the provider
- Time of sign-in
We use this data only to create your account, authenticate you and secure access to the app. We never receive the password of your Google, Microsoft or Apple account. The providers process your data under their own privacy policies. The app also uses Firebase App Check to protect against abuse and Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications. Google may transfer data to countries outside Switzerland, notably the USA, on the basis of recognised safeguards (standard contractual clauses or the Swiss–US Data Privacy Framework). The legal basis is performance of the contract or your consent. You can revoke the link at any time with the respective provider; you can request deletion of your account at [email protected].
Your rights
Under the Swiss Data Protection Act (FADP) you have the following rights:
- Right to information about your stored data
- Right to correction of inaccurate data
- Right to deletion of your data
- Right to data portability
- Right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC)
